Book Synopsis:
Explaining Cancer to Kids with Heart and Simplicity
The Bad Little Cell is a story about a mom who has cancer, written to help kids understand the illness. The book explains how a naughty cell in Mom’s body causes trouble and how doctors work hard to fix it. In the end, Mom comes out victorious, showing strength and bravery. Each child’s experience with a parent’s cancer might be different, and this book is a way for families to talk about their own stories. It’s not exactly what cancer looks like, but it helps explain what’s happening in a simple way. Read this book with your child, and maybe you can share and talk about your own story too.
